A cornerstone of this scheme is the sculptural bespoke zinc shingles engineered in collaboration with Stuart Porter of Varla. Using Design DNA’s parametric design framework—calibrated for coil widths, curvature tolerances, and mirrored panel patterns—the project achieves a seamless skin across complex double‑curvature volumes. Horizontal joint divisions and apex mirror lines ensure visual continuity, while custom gutter and valley details preserve geometric integrity and hydraulic performance. This marriage of algorithmic precision and expert metal‑working has helped Llys Cadwyn redefine both technical excellence and community regeneration.
